Description

Ingredients

  • Ground beef: 1 lb.
  • Taco seasoning: 1 packet.
  • Onion: 1/2 cup, diced.
  • Cheddar cheese: 1 cup, shredded.
  • Taco shells or tortillas: 8 small.
  • Lettuce: 1 cup, shredded.
  • Tomatoes: 1/2 cup, diced.
  • Sour cream: 1/4 cup.
  • Salsa: 1/4 cup.

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
  2. Add the diced onions and cook for another 2 minutes until softened.
  3. Stir in the taco seasoning and 1/4 cup water. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  4. Warm the taco shells or tortillas according to package instructions.
  5. Spoon the beef mixture into the taco shells and sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
  6. Add lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and salsa on top.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
