Description

Caprese Flatbread with Balsamic Glaze is a delightful and easy-to-make appetizer perfect for summer parties. It combines the classic flavors of a Caprese salad with the convenience of a flatbread, topped with a sweet and tangy balsamic glaze.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 flatbread
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup fresh mozzarella, sliced
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Balsamic glaze

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Brush the flatbread with olive oil and place it on a baking sheet.
  3. Arrange the cherry tomatoes and mozzarella slices evenly over the flatbread.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Remove from the oven and top with fresh basil leaves.
  7. Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.

Notes

  • For a crispier flatbread, bake it for a few minutes before adding the toppings.
  • You can make your own balsamic glaze by reducing balsamic vinegar with a bit of sugar.
