Description

These Shrimp and Cream Cheese Wontons are crispy on the outside, rich and creamy inside — a perfect appetizer for parties or snack nights.


Ingredients

  • Cream cheese: 8 oz, softened
  • Cooked shrimp: 1 cup, finely chopped
  • Green onions: 2 tbsp, chopped
  • Garlic powder: 1 tsp
  • Soy sauce: 1 tsp
  • Wonton wrappers: 24
  • Water: for sealing edges
  • Oil: for frying

Instructions

  1. Mix cream cheese, chopped shrimp, green onions, garlic powder, and soy sauce in a bowl.
  2. Place 1 tsp of the filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Wet edges and fold into a triangle.
  3. Seal the edges well and shape if desired. Avoid overfilling.
  4. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry wontons in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until golden.
  5. Drain on paper towels and serve hot with dipping sauce of choice.

  • You can bake or air-fry as a lighter alternative.
