- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar

- 4 tbsp strawberry jam or preserves
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)
- Butter for frying
- Granulated sugar (for coating)
- Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Spread the cheesecake filling on four slices of bread and strawberry jam on the remaining slices. Sandwich them together.
- In a shallow bowl, whisk eggs, milk, and cinnamon.
- Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, coating both sides well.
- Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat and fry each sandwich for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Remove and toss in granulated sugar while still warm or dust with powdered sugar.
- Slice diagonally and serve hot with fresh strawberries or whipped cream.
