Ingredients
- Strawberry pie filling: 1 can (21 oz).
- Cream cheese: 8 oz, softened.
- Granulated sugar: ¼ cup.
- Egg: 1 large.
- Vanilla extract: 1 tsp.
- Vanilla or white cake mix: 1 box (15.25 oz).
- Unsalted butter: ½ cup, melted.
- Whole milk: ¾ cup.
- Lemon zest: 1 tsp (optional).
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly in the prepared dish.
- Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the filling and swirl gently.
- In another bowl, mix cake mix, melted butter, and milk until combined.
- Pour the cake batter over the cheesecake mixture.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown.
