- 1 loaf of brioche bread, cut into cubes
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup brewed coffee, cooled
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Cocoa powder for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, mascarpone cheese, sugar, coffee, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add the brioche cubes to the mixture and gently fold until well coated.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and set.
- Let it cool slightly before dusting with cocoa powder and serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use a dark roast coffee.
- Can be prepared the night before and baked in the morning.
- Serve with whipped cream or a dusting of powdered sugar for extra sweetness.
