Ingredients
  

For the Cauliflower Crust

  • 1 medium head cauliflower riced (about 4 cups)
  • 1 egg large, lightly beaten
  • 0.5 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 0.25 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

Toppings (Optional)

  • 0.5 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C). Line a baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper.
  • Rice the cauliflower using a food processor or box grater. Steam or microwave riced cauliflower for 4-5 minutes until tender. Allow it to cool slightly.
  • Place cauliflower in a clean kitchen towel or cheesecloth, and squeeze out excess moisture thoroughly (this step is crucial for a crisp crust).
  • In a bowl, combine cauliflower, beaten egg, shredded mozzarella, grated parmesan, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until fully combined.
  • Spread the cauliflower mixture evenly onto the prepared baking sheet or pizza pan, forming a thin round crust. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  • Remove the crust from the oven. Spread pizza sauce over the crust, add mozzarella cheese, and desired toppings. Bake again for 8-10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Garnish with fresh basil leaves, slice, and serve immediately.
