Ingredients
  

For the Steak

  • 2 pieces ribeye or filet mignon steaks
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp butter for basting
  • 1 sprig rosemary optional

For the Shrimp

  • 12 pieces large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp lemon juice freshly squeezed

Instructions
 

  • Add the shrimp and season with smoked paprika and salt. Cook for 2 minutes per side until pink and slightly charred.
    Choosing the Best Steak Cut
  • Drizzle olive oil in the skillet and sear the steaks for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Add butter and rosemary, then baste for 1 minute.
  • Remove the steaks and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
