Ingredients
  

For the Bagel

  • 2 bagels sliced and toasted
  • 4 tbsp cream cheese softened
  • 4 oz smoked salmon (lox) thinly sliced
  • 2 slices red onion thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp capers drained
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill chopped
  • 1 tsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper freshly ground

Instructions
 

  • Slice the bagels in half and toast them until golden brown and crisp.
  • Spread 2 tablespoons of softened cream cheese evenly on each toasted bagel half.
  • Layer the smoked salmon evenly over the cream cheese on each bagel half.
  • Add thinly sliced red onion on top of the salmon.
  • Sprinkle capers over the top for a briny kick.
  • Drizzle with fresh lemon juice and season with black pepper.
  • Garnish with fresh dill for an added burst of flavor.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy a deli-style smoked salmon bagel at home.
